Polly Christie has been immersed in music education for over 25 years. Currently a primary school music teacher, she has conducted more than 30 choirs and led singing workshops across Victoria and around Australia.

In recent years, Polly has developed a deep interest in the rich neurological development that occurs when babies are exposed to lullabies. She has teamed up with soprano and harpist Allison Walsh to present Lullabies of the World, gentle, immersive workshops celebrating the power of song in early life.

Immerse yourself in singing and sharing beautiful, age-old lullabies from around the globe, from Cairo to Cape Barren Island. Participants will also take home traditional stories and songs to be passed on to children and grandchildren, keeping these precious musical threads alive across generations. Lullabies foster strong neural pathways, link memory with language, and support emotional growth. Through soft sounds and simple, repetitive melodies, they provide a powerful foundation for early brain development while creating deep connections between singer and child.

Polly Christie (BA Music, Dip Ed) is a passionate and expressive singer-songwriter who has been performing, conducting and teaching music for over 25 years. Together with Allison Walsh, an accomplished soprano and harpist, Polly will guide participants on a magical journey into the art of lullaby singing.
