About Vocal Ranges

Vocal Ranges was founded and coordinated by Polly Christie and began as a festival series in the Macedon Ranges. Across three festivals, hundreds of people came together to sing, share, perform, and experience the power of the human voice through workshops, performances, and community connection.

While the Vocal Ranges Festival series has now concluded, Vocal Ranges continues as a presenting platform for specialised, themed events that celebrate singing and the voice in all its forms.

These events are designed to foster connection, creativity, and participation across the Macedon Ranges community.

Recent projects include a collaborative concert with the Resonance String Orchestra and the Kyneton Primary School Choir, featuring 50 young singers, highlighting Vocal Ranges’ ongoing commitment to music-making.

In 2026, Vocal Ranges will present a women’s concert celebrating International Women’s Day, honouring women’s voices, creativity, and leadership in music.
